iPod Porn, and the Magic Dock

We figured we might as well jump on the Mac news site bandwagon and have an unboxing photoshoot with my brand new iPod Shuffle. Except we called it porn. Is anyone else wondering how all that USB 2.0 data is being transferred over the 3.5 audio jack that the shuffle dock uses? All I have come up with so far is magic.
