Mysterious New Interface in Leopard!

leaopardnewThinkSecret has just posted many screenshots showing the new interface and features of the latest Leopard build. Many will rejoice because the Brushed Metal UI is gone, and replaced by a Unified UI. This new interface, which I will refer to as evil iTunes (until it gets an official name) looks as if it’s borrowed heavily from the newest version of iTunes with the darkened grey matte for Finder windows accented by deep blue trim.

I like that it is unified, but I don’t think it really looks that good. I think we can see this is a very early revision- especially evident in that many formerly brushed metal apps (like the finder) still have very thick borders. I also think that the dark and light areas clash, but I AM glad to see that we don’t have iTunes 7 buttons.
