Downloading your favorite TV show is much easier than it was a few years ago with the help of torrent indexing sites and great software. With the arrival of the open source TVShows application, the whole thing just got even easier. This is way easier than that god awful hackjob of a program Azureus’ RSS offering in this area!
This app reminds me of the built-in OS9 feature in days of yore, but slicker. Not sure if I’d use it, but that is still the best put-together screencast I’ve ever seen. Note how the clock in the corner is showing current real time. There are a few downsides I saw while using this app which include the video glitching as well as the occasional pink flicker on screen. It also contrasts with some of the other GUI elements in OS X creating a dissonant user interface experience. Lot’s of potential though
