Cool iPhone Demo you haven’t seen!

I think this was cut from the keynote or maybe given at a later time, because I don’t recall seeing it. The cool thing that this demo conveys is the multi-threaded nature of the iPhone, after all it is running OS X.

iPhone Video Hoax

Could this be video footage from the iPhone, or just a hoax to get people riled up? It’s definitely a hoax, and here’s why…

Apple Store employees(or anyone for that matter) don’t get iPhones. Apple Store Employees are the lowest of low in the Apple employment food chain, but there is one thing you can count on them for…being enough of a fanboy to make a fake iPhone video.

Check out the time code 00:11, even though the “iPhone” is clearly visible, the camera (which is essentially a black mark on the back of the iPhone) is not visible at all; also, I think the angle is a bit off.

Also, the voice at the end “what are you doing?”, to add drama, screams ’staged’.

What is is?
A cardboard cutout, another cellphone to shoot the actual video, and Apple Store employees with WAY too much time on their hands!

June 20th iPhone Release?

iphoneWe need more iPhone news on this site! A number of reader reports and Google Groups message board posting indicates that CNBC’s is reporting that the iPhone will be released on the 20th of June. On the Money last night on CNBC, the telco Analyst said they had been given the confirmed date of the 20th. Also recent rumors are swirling around Cingular (The New AT&T) that all employee’s are being asked not to request time off starting June 15th, which would seem to corroborate this story!
