Apple Updates Notebook Offerings

Today Apple broke it’s usual habit of introducing products and product upgrades on Tuesdays by announcing speed upgrades to it’s line of MacBook and MacBook Pro computers brining the Intel Santa Rosa chipset to the entire line. The MacBooks are now available in up to 2.2 Ghz Core 2 Duo and the MacBook Pro up to 2.6 Ghz. There was also a modest upgrade to the MacBook graphics chipset, which now uses the GMA X3100 built in graphics processor. Pricing is as follows:

White 13.3″
$1099.00 2.0GHz/1GB RAM/80GB/Combo/GMA X3100
$1299.00 2.2GHz/1GB RAM/120GB/SD-DL/GMA X3100

Black 13.3″
$1499.00 2.2GHz/1GB RAM/160GB/SD-DL/GMA X3100
