Apple Fixes Aluminum iMac Freeze Issue?
Apple released an iMac software updated today through Software Update which, according to the description offers “… important bug fixes and is recommended for 20- and 24-inch iMac models with 2.0, 2.4, or 2.8GHz processors.” Although many users are reportedly still having issues with intermittent freezing. Working on a new iMac currently I will post updates regarding this at the end of the day, to let you know if my particular configuration (20″ 2.4GHZ 2GB RAM - OS 10.4 ) was cure by this patch.
UPDATE: I just experienced the usual mid-morning freeze, come on Apple, seriously.
