Apple OK’s, Custom Created Ringtones for iPhone

ringtonesThere appears to have been a policy shift in the selling of ringtones as the only means of getting custom ringtones on your phone. According to this Apple knowledge base article you are easily able to trim and export your ringtones directly into iTunes 7.4.1 from Garageband 4.1.1.

New Apple Commercial - “Santa Claus”

Apple released this yet another new commercial, in the classic Mac vs PC style which has been converted into some sort of clay-mation type of ad which depicts PC, Mac as well as Santa Claus singing “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” - PC incorrectly sings the last line as “He Knows if you’ve been bad or good, so buy a PC and not a Mac this holiday season, or any other time for goodness sake.” Oh that PC!

Heir to the Throne?

IvesJobsThe Timesonline.co.uk seems to have stirred some speculation of who will eventually inherit the title of Chief Executive Officer at Apple Inc, suggesting the title would fall to Apple’s current chief of design, Jonathan Ives. Ives, a native Englishman, has long been seen as a man who could carry on Jobs’ vision for Apple if Jobs were to suddenly or eventually become unable or unwilling to man the helm at Apple. New Apple Commercial - “Now What”

Apple released this new commercial, in the classic Mac vs PC style which depicts PC pitching a book he has written entitled “I want to buy a computer. Now What?”. Mac interjects with some information about how easy the Apple Store makes the entire computer buying process from choosing the right machine, to Apple’s free training seminars. The piece concludes with PC, pitching anther book called “I just bought a computer. Now What?.”
